As Nike geared up for a holiday lookbook mailing, they wanted something that stood out from the ubiquitous catalog. We proposed a clear envelope of cards with coupons—one for the recipient, and three to give away. The variably-printed postcard images reflected each recipient’s gender and past purchases (like your LeBron 12’s), as well as secondary, less-frequent purchases (like your wife’s yoga pants). Each postcard directed users/customers to a personalized microsite where a gift-finder application would help choose and buy gifts for the whole family. Happy giving, merry everything!
